Coffee First Limited was registered on the 27th January 2003 with one specific aim in mind: to promote Brazilian Arabica coffee within the U.K. market. Brazil is the biggest coffee producer in the world and is now producing high quality coffee, however, the Brazilian farmers seem to benefit very little from this because they have until now only sold the unprocessed green coffee beans to Europe and the U.S.A.
Coffee First Limited has established a special relationship with the coffee farmers in the State of Sao Paulo in order to bring their coffee to the U.K. market as a finished product. We analyse and test the farmers' coffee in Brazil to ensure it meets our quality standards. When it does we arrange to buy their harvest at a higher price than they would normally receive on the international market. However, this does not lead to higher prices for the consumer because we process and package the coffee in our roasting facility in Brazil. This means there are no middle men, the coffee is exceptionally fresh and its smooth flavour is achieved by using mainly ripe (red) coffee beans and not the green coffee beans which increase acidity.

We have invested in the state of the art packaging machine in Brazil which will produce up to 15 different types of packages, however, we are initially producing 500g and 1 Kg packets of roast beans which can be boxed to provide 24 kgs for commercial customers.
